Jacob was raised by his Muggle mother in France, until she died of Lupus when he was age 13. He lived with her sister for a few years in order to stay in France but after financial problems and much head-butting Jacob moved to London with an old family friend he'd been taught to call 'uncle'. He is about to start his first year at Hogwarts and is extremely anxious.
He is a very pensive person, he likes to watch others interact before he attempts to interact with them. Jacob is smart but not a genius. Like every wizard male he loves Quidditch and is hoping to join a team at Hogwarts. He loves music, which is his secret passion. He tries to keep a stony cold front up to those around him, making him appear unfriendly if not cruel most of the time.
